1. Who we are
TAP Jobseeker is operated by TalentChoice Group Pty Ltd (ABN 23 696 418 041). These terms cover the job seeker service at tapjobseeker.com and your candidate area within TAP. They do not set the commercial terms between agencies or the terms of any employment offer.
2. What TAP does
TAP helps you create a profile, find advertised jobs and connect with recruiters. TAP is a technology platform, not your employer. The recruiter or employer decides whether to interview or hire you. We do not guarantee a job, interview, response or particular outcome.
3. Your account
Use an email you control and provide accurate information about your experience and qualifications. Keep your sign-in codes and account details private. Do not create an account for another person without authority or impersonate someone else. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
4. Cost
Creating and using a TAP job seeker profile is free. A recruiter’s or employer’s separate services are not covered by these terms. Any optional paid service introduced by TAP would require clear pricing and your agreement before a charge; we will not automatically enrol your free account in a paid service.
5. Your profile and sharing choices
Your open-registration profile starts private. Review your sharing and visibility choices before connecting or applying. Giving a recruiter access is separate from applying for a job. You can manage future access through your account. Withdrawing access does not retrieve information already lawfully downloaded or erase records another party must retain. Contact the recipient about its handling of those records.
Our Privacy information explains how personal information is handled. Recruiters, employers and external application sites may have their own privacy notices. We do not treat agreeing to these terms as blanket permission to share your CV or private contact details.
6. Content you provide
You retain ownership of your CV and other content. You give TAP permission to store, process and display it as needed to provide the service and carry out your sharing choices. Only upload material you are entitled to use. Avoid including unnecessary sensitive information about yourself or others.
7. Jobs and other organisations
Job descriptions and recruiter profiles are supplied by the organisations that publish them. Information may change. Check the job, employer, location, pay and work requirements before accepting an offer. An external application is handled by that website. Report suspicious listings or requests for account codes to us.
8. Fair use
Do not use TAP for scams, harassment, discrimination, unlawful content, spam, scraping personal information or attempts to access another person’s records. Do not upload malicious files or interfere with the service. We may restrict an account or remove content where reasonably necessary to address misuse, a security risk or a legal obligation. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and give you a way to contact us about the decision.
9. Availability and your rights
We aim to keep TAP available and take reasonable care in providing it, but maintenance, faults and interruptions can occur. Keep your own copies of important documents. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under Australian Consumer Law.
10. Leaving TAP and changes to these terms
You can stop using TAP at any time and contact us about closing your account or requesting deletion. Information may need to be retained where required by law or for legitimate security and dispute purposes, as explained in our privacy information. We will publish revised terms with a new effective date and give reasonable notice of material changes, except where an urgent legal or security change is needed. Changes will not retrospectively remove your accrued rights.
11. Questions or concerns
Contact TAP if you need help, want to raise a concern or wish to challenge an account restriction. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, subject to any mandatory protections and rights that apply where you live.
