Your job seeker profile: what to share and when

Build a useful profile while keeping your sharing choices clear.

Start with the information that helps someone understand your work

Include your recent roles, relevant skills, qualifications and the kind of opportunity you want. Keep your CV current and check that your contact details are correct. Avoid adding documents or personal information that are not needed for your job search.

You choose who can discover you

At profile setup, choose whether signed-in agencies on TAP can discover your basic profile, need approval before saving it, or cannot find you until you select them. Your contact details and CV require separate permission. Review the sharing information before confirming a connection.

Applying for a job is a separate decision

Read each job's application instructions. Some applications happen on TAP; others open the advertiser's website. Check which organisation will receive your information and its privacy information before submitting.

Review your choices as your search changes

Use your account to manage visibility and recruiter connections. Changing access cannot retrieve a document that someone has already lawfully downloaded. If you have questions about information held by a recruiter or employer, contact that organisation.
